The Maiden Voyage Dance | Luail partnership are pleased to announce this pilot professional development opportunity for two NI based and two ROI based early career dance artists who want to build a sustainable participatory dance practice. 

This two-week intensive workshop, scheduled from July 7th to July 18th, 2025, will be hosted at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, Ireland. The workshop will run Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Maiden Voyage Dance present Moonlight Dream, A Baby’s Cosmic Odyssey which will premiere at The Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast, as part of Belfast Children’s Festival 2025.

Now in its 7th year, The D2C LAB is a professional development intensive for Irish and international dance artists who locate their practice at the intersection between street dance and contemporary dance theatre. D2C LAB fosters shared learning, offering dancers an opportunity to learn from each other’s techniques and performance strategies, diving deep into their choreographic pursuits.

We were delighted to celebrate the Luail | Maiden Voyage Dance partnership at The MAC, belfast on 6th November.

Maiden Voyage will lead on shared programmes of commissioning, artist development and engagement in Northern Ireland as part of the partnership with Luail as we move into this exciting new chapter for dance on this island, together.

Maiden Voyage Dance GradLab is a paid opportunity for 2022, 2023, 2024 dance graduates from or based in Northern Ireland who wish to pursue a career as a contemporary dance artist.
