Fragile Ghosts, Mild Acquaintances

Based on Igor Stravinsky and Bronislava Nijinska's Les Noces, composer Christian Fredrickson and choreographer Luke Murphy take inspiration from various elements of the original physical and musical composition but reset the wedding ritual to a modern day ritual of the school reunion.

New lives and old expectations collide as identities are put under the microscope. Veterans of schoolyard camaraderie are reunited in a dimly lit gymnasium where past and present intersect as they befriend, test and challenge one another.
