Match Make, was a new Maiden Voyage commissioning initiative that brought dance artists and artistic collaborators together to work apart on short commissions during lockdown. The 8 collaborations presented as short films, show unique responses to the new environment we all found ourselves within, outcomes are wide ranging and diverse. ‘The social distancing measures provided some interesting adventures with filming, the possibilities seemed endless to play with’. Match Make Dance Artist Extracts of these collaborations were included in the introduction of Theatre and Dance NI’s Catalyst Dance Platform film highlighting individual dance artists in NI.
